- August 29th, 2025: I doubt the site will be entirely migrated to 11ty (the static site generator) by the beginning of September, after all. Also? Ulysses itself (the markdown-based MacOS software I use to draft articles) is glitching. Looking into alternatives for the future, even though I do have backups. Any good markdown editors??
- August 26th, 2025: Struggling a lot with setting up an error page that works properly alongside neocities. My old one did, but the one that I was initially having dear sweet 11ty generate doesn't quite do that. I have plenty of time to solve the issue this week, though!
- August 26th, 2025: Operation Eleventh Dragon was (mostly) successful. I'll be slowly uploading the remainder of my existing articles before September, in batches. I'll be expanding the new Rants and Flames section once I set it up...

- June 23rd, 2025: I only wanted to add that I followed this wonderful tutorial and install a back-to-top button on the site that gives dynamic feedback like a scrollbar. It's a nifty little thing.
- June 22nd, 2025: Just posted Which Witch is Wicca?, a look at an infamous website and the rant included therein - did it change minds, and if so, why? What were we to make of it? Occult weirdness.
- June 22nd, 2025: Check out my stamp collection! 99 pixel wide by 56 pixel tall stamps, originating on Deviantart, became an online phenomenon, and I've started collecting them. Here's the bunches!

- May 22nd, 2025: Have you heard of The Children's Immortality Project? Are we all really born to die? One guy created an online labyrinth in the 2000s to spread awareness about (somehow) stopping death. But what was this strange project, really?
- April 30th, 2025: Meet The Infamous Green Blade. As a youngster, I developed (quite quite privately, though) an elaborate mythology about a notorious hacker. Killed some boredom, kids are weird.
- April 26th, 2025: I added a page talking a bit about my past site themes, why I chose them, where they came from, and more. It's short, but may be of interest. I do plan to share the themes I make as linkware. Someday.
- April 24th, 2025: Adding a favicon is a good idea for most sites. In this little article, I explain both how to create a normal favicon, but also how to use an .svg of an emoji or text for one, which I believe is a much better way of doing it in some instances.
- April 23rd, 2025: I've written about the Gainax Bounce Example Incident - the story of my university's most sought-after elective class and a Powerpoint presentation gone horribly, horribly wrong.
- April 20th, 2025: A beautiful new site theme entitled Pink Lynx, now live. I made it without images because I'm not good with creating those, but the CSS effects and fonts do a lot of work to create a striking yet inviting atmosphere... I hope.
- April 7th, 2025: You've likely heard of 4chan, and you've definitely heard of the dastardly Church of Scientology. But what was Project Chanology? Just added an article about it.
- April 4th, 2025: I'm adding a shrine of sorts dedicated to dystopian media such as 1984, The Hunger Games, This Perfect Day and others. Why do millennials find them so captivating?
- March 27th, 2025: Check out a new, short article about customization on MacOS Sonoma. It's rather a simple process but I really love aesthetic stylings on my user interfaces, and maybe you do, too?
- March 20th, 2025: I've redesigned the entire site with a whole new layout. It's no longer using images from a sozai site, and in fact, uses no images at all (so far) besides the illustrations inside each page. It's pink and pale yellow. I might still make changes to it from here...
- March 10th, 2025: Just posted some thoughts on masks and authenticity. It's not the most coherent thing I've ever written, but it is important to me! Hope everyone is having a good springtime!

- December 26th, 2024: I've posted some Sorcerous Inclinations, a page focused on the occult and magic in a digital environment. Though in a nascent form, there's some resources and information.
- December 16th, 2024: You can now check out some thoughts I've had about metaphors on the web. Why were they popular in the past, and should they be revived? How can we go about that? I share some ideas in this short article.
- December 14th, 2024: I've posted a new article thing. File Structure: Badgers is a short look at how and (more importantly) why I choose to organize my site's files, both HTML and others, into folders. I try to explain the benefits of doing this.
- December 5th, 2024: I've added a page describing my attempt at a stamp marquee using purely CSS. There is a sprinkling of Javascript included that randomizes the stamps, but needn't be used. It works well enough, I guess.
- November 23rd, 2024: Added a page discussing the circumstances and experiences I had surrounding my grade school bully and his self-published philosophy book from 1995. How do you feel about the industrial revolution and its consequences?
- November 21st, 2024: I created a small page collecting unique characters I've discovered across the web. These are unicode, not emojis, and will show up as whatever color your text is set as, so they're quite useful for navigation, bullet points, and more.
- November 8th, 2024: Do you use Last.fm? If you do, you can generate an API key and share, via your website, your recent listens. I've been experimenting with it, and made several small versions that kind of work?
- October 20th, 2024: Added an article on five reasons the 2000s were terribad. Make of it what you will, and some of what I have to say is rather specific, but symptomatic of wider societal issues that existed at the time.
- October 19th, 2024: I've updated my Sounds page with several new playlists, including one featuring over fifty hours of Russian rap and hip hop. I've also added a nifty trinket to the sidebar, which shows what I've been listening to on Spotify.
- October 15th, 2024: Inspired by the work of Iriu, I've posted a guide to manipulating the way neocities grabs screen captures from your page. Well, not really a full guide, more like a short, curious look from a beginner (me) who figured some things out.
- October 14th, 2024: The section focused on the future of the internet now has some content uploaded, but is incomplete.
- October 10th, 2024: Expect more and more site updates. Work on the Aristasian Reminiscence Project has, strangely enough, nearly had me breaking down. Learning coding while working on this site is a welcome respite.
- September 29th, 2024: I'm not really doing great, so I'm spending a lot of time working on this site to distract myself. I'm thinking I'll write a list of all the reasons the 2000s were somewhat terrible, just to remind everyone that nostalgia tends to cloud reality. I'm also working on what will become a web serial in October, but none of that is online yet.
- September 26th, 2024: You may have seen the dog (Lulu) in the sidebar. Would you like to know more about her, and website mascots in general? I've written a short guide here, featuring trivia about Lulu and tips for choosing your own mascot.
- September 25th, 2024: Posted a little guide to chatlogs coded flavorfully in HTML. Obviously, these aren't meant to really spill tea, but it is a fun way of displaying conversations, is it not? Your readers won't take it seriously, and neither should you - it's charming and fun, though!
- September 18th, 2024: I wrote an ode to comments in code. Don't you just love labels? Annotations? Probably not, but with HTML and especially CSS, they're growing on me. Also, you can actually make them look quite interesting, as a treat.
- September 17th, 2024: Significant updates to the section about site creation itself. Or, rather, the section about websites as a medium for expressing a message. This doesn't include any of my rambles yet, but I've added some neat notes about how you might prepare a template for use... as a template!
- September 16th, 2024: Would you like to read a bit about how I figured out figures? Most people just insert images as needed into their pages - this works well for decorative purposes, but if your images are illustrations - charts, photos, etc - you might want to put them in figure tags.
- September 2nd, 2024: I've made significant updates to the Before Times section, adding a couple new stories and bits of lore to visit, as well as as a curated nostalgia stroll. You can also read about Eternal Septembers, and a (weak) code to septemberize the date.
- August 21st, 2024: I've added a page on how I turn premade templates into zippier templates. Check it out, though I'm not sure if it'll be useful to anyone - it's just the method I use.

- August 14th, 2024: I've added some additional personal information, including a small status widget and extra contact methods, to the sidebar.
- August 10th, 2024: The majority of the site's index pages, which list all contents extant within a category alongside descriptions, are now live. Consider this the site's main launch, I guess?
- August 2nd, 2024: Site structure and Table of Contents are now live, but many links are non-functional, leading to my new Not Found page instead.
- July 29th, 2024: I've adopted an akita inu puppy to guard the site. Her name is Lulu, and she should now be found watching you from the sidebar. She may look friendly but will attack on command.
- July 24th, 2024: I'm sharing a vast whirlwind of likeable sites from the indie web now; the list is not organized and, in fact, the table itself is randomized to prevent playing favorites, but there's plenty to explore!
- June 26th, 2024: The site now includes some pages sharing coding snippets with (rather effusive, but what did you expect of me?) documentation; I'm trying my best. I had hoped to post something unrelated to web development first, but my excitement over this elaborate form got to me.
- June 8th, 2024: Having decided on a template provided by Foollovers, I've spruced it up as much as possible, and done extensive customizations with fonts, colors, and even sounds, and chopped it up to make it easier to use.
- June 2nd, 2024: I realize most everyone on neocities uses whatever Github is, but I registered an account with Code Pen and signed up as a premium member. You can visit my work there, but it will ultimately be mirrored on this site.
- April 20th, 2024: Inception of site; decided to name the site Fabled, and took a couple short polls in relevant Discord servers to decide on a TLD, ultimately choosing .day, of course. Domain name registered soon after.
To Do List
- Share some scarier things. Much of what I've written thus far has been fairly lighthearted, but I'd really like to share some stories highlighting the darker aspects of growing up in the 1990s and 2000s, which were just as troublesome as any other era.
- Write a bit about religion. The way that the internet has affected human spiritual patterns can't really be denied, understated, or even easily understood, and I'd like to explore it.
- Upload some details about text effects. I've collected a great deal of CSS code for interesting and creative text display effects to be used with links, titles, and anything, really. I'd like to start sharing those.
- Improve mobile interface. It can almost always be improved at this point, and the current version, while a definite improvement over the original version, is mediocre at best. I can do better!
